We are a family run retail gift shop (gifts & home accessories) operating for 26 years. Every member is important and appreciated when working in a small business, and there is a lot more flexibility in daily routine. We are looking for talented colleagues to be part of our team who are passionate and energetic about providing an exceptional shopping experience and have sales experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and identify their needs
  • Explain products and services to customers
  • Monitor inventory to ensure it is stocked on the floor
  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Gift wrapping
  • Cashier
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns
  • Receive shipments
  • Pull online orders
  • Keep products organized on the floor and in storage rooms


  • Previous retail experience in sales or customer service
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Fast learner (extensive product knowledge)
  • Able to lift boxes and go up and down stairs
  • Can work independently without a lot of guidance
  • Be a team player
  • Permanent position, not summer position
  • Part-time or Full-time available
  • MUST be available weekDAYS (daytime) and weekends
